Gracee's 9 mons old

Today was Gracee's 9 month well child check up. She weighs 18lbs 3 oz (39%) and is 28 1/2 inches long (82%). She had to get 1 shot today and did not even cry, she is a tough girl. She is crawling everywhere and stands up to anything. The last couple of days she is gettting braver and trying to let go and take a step or 2 to the next object. This girl wants to run bad--- so that she can keep up with her brother. I do not remember Kraeton being so frustrated with not being mobile, it must be because there is an older sibling running around. The girl loves food (poor thing)and playing in the water (as a matter of fact she discovered the toilet today). I took the kids to the kiddie pool at Howard Amon park today and the water was cold, but it did not phase her one bit. She would of liked me to let go so she could do her own thing and sure enough the minute I did she went under.

I sure wish my rolls looked this cute!!!

Kindergarten Graduation

Last night was Kraeton's graduation from kindegarten. Man, I sure do not remember anything like this when I was in kindergarten. They even had cap and gowns with tassels. I do have to admit that it was quite nice but I am still trying to decide if the whole "kindergarten graduation" is a bit of an over-kill. They all got up and sang (with their music teacher) songs like wheels on the bus, if your happy and you know it, I like school and school likes me, etc., they even had a little slide show and then got their diplomas. We then had both sets of grandparents over and had some cake. Kraeton and my dad had a discussion that they were pretty sure that Krae's graduation was waaaaay more important than my brother Ryan's.

Way to go ..... BRO

This past weekend we got the pleasure to go and stay with my brother Ryan and his family in the seattle area for his graduation from dental school at the University of Washington. I cannot even express how proud of him I am for such a great accomplishment. I know Ryan would probably not agree, but I cannot believe how fast those last 4 years flew by. He made it look so simple, I swear he rarely had to study, he just has to hear something and it is in for good. Lucky guy, how did he get all the smarts? Seriously, I want to know the answer to this question. I must say it is nice to have someone else around to talk about teeth.

So with great pleasure I am pleased to present Dr. Ryan Michael Wieseler D.D.S.

Ryan, Amy, and Delaney (who we could not get to look at the camera)

I have to include this picture because this dog means the world to Ryan, (I think he might even come before family, as a matter of fact I think he might be God). Anyway this poor dog will do anything for Ryan... he even let Ryan take dental impressions on him. Most humans don't even let you do that without any complaining.

And to prove we were there, here we are.

To conclude: we are so excited to have Ryan, Amy, and Delaney back in the country. Even though they will be living in another state (OR) they are only a 1/2 hour away (Hermiston) Yeah.

8 months old

I got so wrapped up in the camping blog last week I forgot to make a post for Gracee being 8 months old. So really she is lmost 8 1/2 months but she has began so many new things I had to post about it. She was 8 months old the Friday we went camping and it seems like she started to do all this stuff when we were camping (even though we were in confined quarters). She has offically started crawling but still prefers to army crawl if she has to get somewhere fast, she is pulling herself up to things and thinks she is mighty cool when she does, she has gone from baby scramble to actually baby talk (if that is what you call it). Her favorite is "ba ba ba ba" but occassionally there is a ma ma or da da (although she uses none of these for what they actually mean). She also waves bye bye and gives kisses (gotta watch it though sometimes you think it is going to be a kiss and it turns violent with a scratch to the face)

Here are some of here most recent pictures

Her new thing is to ride the lawn mower with her dad, she will stay the whole hour out there with him, as a matter of fact the other night she fell asleep on it.

I had to take this photo because this ia a bonnet of mine when I was a baby. Poor Gracee's cheeks are so red because of camping (yes a little sun burn, I am going to have to watch this poor red head well when she is in the sun)
